Art Director The Art Director will be responsible for formulating concepts and leads staff engaged in executing layout designs for art work and copy to be presented by visual communications media such as websites, magazines, books, newspapers, television, posters, and packaging. - Develop concepts and collaborate with copywriters for various cross channel initiatives with respect for sensitive deadlines. High quality development and design of strategy direction for assigned projects.
Monitors all assigned production through all phases, beginning-to-end. Delivers presentations to team, clients, and/or senior creative personnel. Design in a variety of styles.
Maintain and monitor budgets and timeframes in conjunction with production personnel. Remain current on industry trends and technology.
Art Director Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
- 3+ years of related work experience required. Proficiency in multiple media channels and ability to press check is required.
Strong typographic, motion, interactive and mobile design skills are required. In-depth understanding of current interactive technologies (HTML/DHTM, web browser capabilities, mobile applications, etc.). Portfolio must equally show digital and print capabilities. Meticulous attention to detail; conceptual and strategic thinker and problem solver.
