Art Director, Omni

Arhaus is seeking a Art Director, Omni to join our Creative Team. This role will work across omnichannel creative. You bring a passion for brainstorming and collaborating on projects in a team-based atmosphere and the proven ability to own designs from start to finish. This role will report into an Associate Creative Director.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Art Director, Omni will assist the Associate Creative Director responsible for Omni-Channel creative to bring beautiful designs to life through campaign concepting, photoshoot planning, content-curation, and storytelling share outs. You bring a passion for brainstorming and collaborating on projects in a team-based atmosphere and the proven ability to own designs from start to finish.

Key fundamental skill sets for this role will be:

• Conduct competitive research and curate inspiration imagery for seasonal omni-channel campaigns.

• Present interior design themes, product styling direction, architectural themes, floral style direction, and color direction for seasonal omni-channel campaigns.

• Create and refine photoshop image comps for concept presentations.

• Assist the Associate Creative Director in designing seasonal omni-channel presentation documents for Arhaus.com and Arhaus social platforms.

• Assist Associate Creative Director in organizing daily image selected during multi-week photoshoots into art direction documents.

• Assist in the art direction of photographers and stylists on set for omni-channel content creation as needed.

• Curate imagery boards from photoshoots for lead directors to conduct storytelling theme exercises.

• Update omni-channel presentation documents with new photography during photoshoots.

• Maintain accountability for overall quality of creative work.

• Partner with Marketing leads to explore designs that elevate the brand and excite customers.

Requirements:

• Omni-channel design portfolio demonstrating photo driven layouts and print/digital-based design solutions with an elevated aesthetic.

• Creative portfolio showing your superior understanding of Photoshop with multiple visual examples of different Photoshop techniques.

• Exceptional creative concepting ability, as evidenced by a diverse portfolio of graphic design projects.

• Eye for elevated visual storytelling through photography, graphic design, and video/motion.

• Experience ensuring designs translate across multiple marketing channels.

• Organized and able to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently through ambiguity.

• Experience creating photo driven designs and maintaining consistent typographic standards.

• Strong project management skills as an individual contributor and the ability to influence others as a project leader.

• Able to work well in cross-functional teams.

• Excellent presentation, collaboration, and communication skills, as well as a strong customer service mentality, and ability to build and maintain relationships.

• Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups, prototypes, and style guides.

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication, presentation, and social skills.

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate design concepts appropriately to different audiences in varying levels of the organization.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Advertising, Design, or other relevant field.

• Fluent in Photoshop, XD, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Passion for interior design.

• Portfolio demonstrating motion design examples/experience.
