Freeman is seeking an Art Director to be responsible for developing, directing and creating visual content for Freeman productions and proposals. Must collaborate with the entire production team to produce creative visual designs for the customer in both print and digital format. Additional duties include:

  • Create and design visual assets to be used in videos, presentations, proposals & programs. Enhance existing presentation assets as required.

  • Work closely with creative, graphics, and account teams to assist in the production of proposals and presentations.

  • Liaison with external agencies and freelancers where required.

  • Develop collateral to articulate service offerings reflective of both electronic and paper formats.

  • Act as an important team member in contributing to the development and fulfillment of the short and long term strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

  • Maintain workflow in support of the organization's internal projects, client projects and co-workers responsibilities in fulfillment of same Maintain expertise in all applicable Freeman service offerings. Remain knowledgeable about trends in technology that impact skills and output.

  • Retain proficiency with standard Design and presentation programs including, but not limited to Adobe Design Standard CS6, Adobe Production Premium CS6, and MS Office/Outlook, Apple Keynote, and other software programs as deemed necessary.

  • Deliver superior, knowledge-based creative solutions, which exceed clients' expectations, are on target for clients' business objectives, speak effectively to target demo and are within budgetary and production requirements.

  • Provide effective team leadership in partnership with Producers, Client Services, Creative & Strategy keeping the project's visual creative thread on track from concept through execution.

  • Present to clients both internal and external through capability presentations, public forums, proposals and others as required by the needs of the business.

  • Work closely with clients, as necessary, and in-house client service teams from the proposal process through post-project debriefs.

  • Develop and manage relationships with a broad range of freelance creative resources.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 6 years' experience as a Graphics designer, or creative and/or similar role in corporate communications, agency, or production environment.

  • Experience within one or more segments of business-to-business communications

  • Must have branding and marketing experience

  • Fluent in Freeman service offerings, especially Meetings/Events, Video and Digital Media.

  • Must have a keen eye for detail, writing ability, along with high standards of graphics and design are a must.

  • Must have a great grasp on presentation design packages; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote and Acrobat.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced high pressure environment with C level executives.

  • Knows how to tell a great visual story and connect with an audience; make complex messages easily understood and compelling.

  • Must have an agile and creative mind, be a strategic thinker, and have refined aesthetic sensibilities.

  • Proven leadership and team-building abilities.

  • Must have an entrepreneurial in attitude and problem solving.

  • Demonstrated computer skills in all MS Office programs.

  • Proven communication, presentation, and writing skills.
