Art Director

Your Role:

As an Art Director, you will partner with copywriters to present and produce compelling and original ideas for our current clients and for new business. We ask that you have design expertise and technical understanding across multiple mediums (design, branding, advertising, digital, video), and a high level of collaboration with creative and our teams. This role is remote and reports to the Associate Creative Director, Art.

Responsibilities:

• Execute creative work in a variety of media that is aligned to the creative brief, is on time, and is within budget

• Manage workload and timelines efficiently, juggling multiple projects and day-to-day responsibilities

• Partner with Copywriters/Sr. Copywriters to ensure creative needs of brand(s) are met

• Build a thorough understanding of your assigned brand(s)

• Lead creative presentations to internal team and be involved in client presentations

• Begin to mentor and grow junior member(s) of the team

• Begin to collaborate with internal studio team

• Participate in discussions with outside vendors, freelancers, and partners as needed

• Begin to integrate strategic thinking and behavioral approaches into creative work

• Collaborate with senior staff to develop concepts for brands and new business

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Art, Graphic Design or related field

• Experience of Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong knowledge in digital design software (video and experience design a plus)

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and related programs

• 2+ years of experience in an advertising or direct marketing agency, experience in Pharma a plus

• Ability to not only bring unique and elevated designs but also guide the work creatively and strategically along the way

• Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual work across multiple mediums

• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail

• Understanding of creative development process, including digital

• Curiosity and a hunger to continuously develop and learn
