We are seeking a highly organized and creative Art Director to join our team at EF Academy. This person will need an entrepreneurial spirit. The Art Director will be responsible for managing all creative ideation and execution including, but not limited to, graphic design, video, print, and more, while collaborating closely with the larger marketing team to execute strategies that drive enrollment and build a pipeline of new students through engaging content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual communication, branding, and marketing, as well as experience in managing projects from conception to execution.

A portfolio is required as part of your application.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the creative direction for all marketing materials, including print collateral, digital assets, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.

  • Manage a team and/or independent contractors in the design, photography, or other creative departments, delegating tasks and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Collaborate with the larger marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align with the school's brand identity and goals.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the school's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.

  • Stay up-to-date on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of our marketing materials.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including admissions, academics, and student services, to understand their needs and develop creative solutions that meet their objectives.

  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to members of the creative team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, such as printers, photographers, and agencies, to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design, video editing, branding, and marketing across various mediums.

  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, able to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students.
