What you'll be doing:

  • Developing the creative strategy and seeing our creative vision through with well-designed, compelling, guest-facing marketing

  • Taking ownership of projects from start to finish, from the creative concept to the execution

  • Assisting in or leading brainstorming and presentations as needed and collaborating with the team on creative problem solving

  • Communicating with third-party vendors/agencies on AMC Theatres' behalf

What we need from you:

  • 7+ years of experience in an art direction and/or design-driven position at an advertising agency, internal marketing department, or a related company

  • Stellar skills in Adobe Creative Cloud programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

  • Proven leadership ability to drive projects from the creative concept to its execution

  • An eye for design, a conceptual mind, and the talent to bring creative ideas to life

  • The capability to direct photoshoots to produce desired results

  • An understanding of marketing and branding principles and how they apply to our promotions

  • The ability to push for fresh, exciting ideas

  • Strong and clear communication and presentation skills

  • The ability to build connections with other teams and departments

  • Laser-sharp attention to detail and organization

What we also value (preferred):

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in advertising or a related degree from an art institute

  • Experience in an Art Director role

  • Significant professional experience in the development of art for advertising

  • The ability to balance multiple projects on varying timelines

Job Summary

  • The position's primary purpose is to conceptualize and create well-designed, effective advertising that communicates our strategic intent.

As a member of the Adult Discipleship Team under the direction of the Adult Discipleship Lead Director, in coordination with the Leawood Adult Discipleship Director and Leawood Location Pastor, the Men's Ministry Program Director will collaborate to engage all men at Resurrection in small groups, study and community life. The Men's Ministry Program Director will provide ongoing leadership, vision, and strategic planning for volunteer leadership teams to support all ministries and programs related to men at the location.
