What You Need to Do: This position of Art Director will be responsible for the development and direction of creative work, as well as the management of a small design team to conceptualize and create brand assets (print, digital, video) for Transamerica products.

This specific AD role requires video creation experience, primarily in post-production and editing and will be about 25% of the role. Your responsibilities will include understanding our brand to give expert visual guidance, developing compelling layouts, video post-production, and championing and protecting the brand across multiple platforms and channels. You will work closely with our Marketing Directors, the larger creative team, and Channel partners to create work that engages and sells.

What You Will Learn: You will be working on a team of creative professionals who bring fresh ideas and diverse perspectives to help us shake up the status quo and stay on the forefront of reinventing how our Wealth + Health brand can profoundly impact a person's future.

What Success Looks Like: This role requires the ability to thoughtfully create with our brand visuals for our Employee Benefits and Retirement product lines, as well as manage a team of designers through assignments, deadlines, reviews, and feedback.

We need you to be an agent for collaboration, advocating for, and managing, relational activities with a wide range of key stakeholders including sales, compliance, the broader marketing team, and related business partners to ensure alignment with strategic goals. You will help continue nurturing our environment of constant learning, engagement, and encouraging creativity that fosters fresh and progressive ideas.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fine Arts, Graphic Design or related field.

  • Eight years of experience in graphic design across multiple mediums.

  • Experience in graphic design branding.

  • Experience working in video post-production, animation, and customization

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid.

It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation.


The salary for this position generally ranges between $77,700-$128,100. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

Bonus Eligibility:

This position is also typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 12.5%.
