The College of Arts & Sciences at Dakota State University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Art beginning Fall 2024. This position will instruct on-campus classes.

The successful candidates must have at least an MFA or significant work experience within the discipline plus a commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level. They will be assigned to teach 1-2 sections of ART 121: Design I 2D.

DSU is student centered and committed to contributing to the continued success of the college's undergraduate programs. The adjunct instructor of Art will report directly to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

DSU is located in Madison, South Dakota in the southern lakes region of the state. The region boasts a wealth of outdoor sports and a life-style possible only in smaller towns and rural communities. Madison is just a 50-minute drive from Sioux Falls, the largest city in South Dakota.
