This job contributes to REI's success by applying knowledge of REI's Ariba systems to effectively support users of the system and the system itself. This role administers systems though hands-on maintenance of system master data and configuration. The position actively troubleshoots issues and guides users to ensure optimal system utilization.
Provides day-to-day system support to a large, geographically dispersed group of end users
Troubleshoots basic issues and surfaces more complex issues to others with clear definition and context.
Inputs in to documentation and training
Maintains master data based on largely defined requirements and processes
Supports optimal system configuration as guided by program management
Supports new functionality by learning new areas, performing predefined test scenarios or other related work
Supports enablement of suppliers through largely defined processes
Actively works to enhance knowledge of systems, processes and best practice
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and actively plays a role in driving efficiency and mitigating risk
Utilizes reports to provide key performance indicator (KPI) metrics and other reporting as needed by the business
Partners with program management to ensure work is optimally aligned to program priorities.
Bring your passion and expertise
1+ year of business-facing systems experience, ideally source-to-pay systems
Familiar with source-to-pay business processes
Understanding of source-to-pay concepts
Active participant in cross-functional change management
Absorbs and consolidates information and feedback from various sources to surface opportunities
Basic to intermediate knowledge of foundational software (Microsoft Office, etc.)
Able to influence others to optimize work in accordance with system and procedures
Actively participate in process improvement by identifying opportunities and possible solutions
Intrinsically motivated to hold oneself to high standards including both good attention to detail and good personal accountability
Respectfully collaborates effectively with others focusing on outcomes
Ability to flex communication method and style to effectively convey and receive information with different audiences
Actively seeks input and clarification to ensure clear work direction
