They provide a wide variety of facility services, including landscaping, disinfection, janitorial, HVAC maintenance and general building operations. As the Area Vice President, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a region of branches, overseeing operational efficiency, and operating an environment that motivates people to be successful.

Location: Charleston, SC

Compensation: $150,000-$190,000 + $20,000-$30,000 bonus potential

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of the area including sales, finance, human resources, and customer service with full P&L accountability.

  • Drive new sales growth within the assigned markets with new clients, existing client base, enhancement services, and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to our clients.

  • Develop short- and long-term operational strategies in partnership with senior team members.

  • Lead and manage a highly productive, motivated, and driven team through strong communication, empowerment, reward, and coaching techniques.

  • Maintain close working relationships with partner group in functional areas, including Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain and Compliance.

  • Partner with the business unit leaders (such as landscape operations, maintenance support and other key stakeholders) to drive change and implement new business processes as needed.

  • Provide guidance and motivation to Branch Managers and other area operational staff and support staff.

  • Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport with a mutually beneficial business relationship.

  • Identify and engage top talent and develop team members to their fullest potential within the organization.

  • Leverage relationships to support new and existing business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree desired.

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive responsibility within facility services organization.

  • Successful experience in general management with full P&L responsibility

  • Proven leadership and experience with managing effective client relationships.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a broad knowledge of management practices and good business analysis/project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a wide range of audiences including clients, front line managers and C-level leaders.
