This is a highly visible and impactful executive role that will regularly collaborate and interact with other NetApp executives, partners and major customers to influence, negotiate and build strong business partnerships to drive ongoing revenue opportunities.
Lead and drive a high growth business with revenue responsibilities of ~$400M. Manage and develop high performance team.
Grow revenue and assume responsibility for results.
Provide overall operational sales direction and leadership of the Area to achieve superior levels of performance, measured by improved operating margins and improved go-to-market and sales operational processes.
Increase the capability of NetApp to successfully sell in an evolving, multi-products and services environment, and in a highly demanding market.
Work closely and effectively with NetApp's strategic partners and lead the relationships with the specific partner community to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Lead and develop 2-3 Regions and 8-10 Districts for Enterprise and Commercial accounts, with approximately 65 sales reps.
Grow revenue by maximizing the potential of existing relationships while concurrently seeking to gain additional buyers and accounts. Identify long-term market needs and develop distinctive strategies to achieve competitive advantage.
Direct sales activities including development of sales strategy, forecasting and pipeline accuracy, and field sales execution.
Grow the team, develop and retain top talent. Align talent needs with future business objectives.
Oversee planning, annual budgeting, expense priorities, and recommending and implementing appropriate org and staffing plans
Utilize and leverage all internal resources to maintain business integrity and global compliance, including Sales Ops, Finance, Legal and HR
10+ years of sales management experience working in the high-tech industry with a background in Enterprise Storage or Data Center systems and/or software sales.
Demonstrated track record of success in developing and implementing a comprehensive GTM strategies, with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quota is contiguous, multiple years.
Demonstrated success, leading large, and "virtual" leadership teams towards a common vision/strategy
Proven leadership skills - ability to work collaboratively across sales teams and partners, proven ability to manage conflict and effectively make decisions.
Possess an aptitude for how technology products and solutions solve business problems, across global IT environments.
Excellent public, verbal and written communication skills with equally strong listening, qualification and business negotiation skills.
