A Sales & Marketing position, the Business Review Manager is responsible for developing and/or conducting Traditional Business Reviews, Back of the House Business Reviews, Front of the House Training, and Operational Consultations. Managing and researching all stratification levels and targeted marketing efforts and assisting other members of the Review Team with training programs for external and internal customers (which may include ServSafe), Marketing Reviews and Customer Menu Consultations. An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Essential Skills and Knowledge: * Must reside in the current delivery footprint of PFG- Little Rock, or within 200 miles of Little Rock, AR * The ability to drive a personal vehicle to customers location to conduct Business Review Activity. (Reimbursement Provided) * Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, IOS, Android Mobile, and OSX. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, prospects, and the general public. * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. * Strong verbal and written communications skills for interaction with customers, associates, brokers and suppliers. * Ability to master Menu Analysis. * Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. * Proficient at conducting research on the internet. * Strong knowledge of social media engagement and practices. * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Essential Duties: * Develops and executes Back of the House Reviews which includes evaluating customers' back of the house operations such as set up, quality, food cost and consistency. * Ability to conduct Front of the House Training for Waitstaff, Host, Hostess, and Managers. * Conducts research to determine customer needs and opportunity to grow sales. * Makes recommendations to improve a customer's back of the house and front of the house operations and processes based on findings. * Determines appropriate timeline for follow up with the customer to ensure implementation based on the ideas and concepts accepted by the customer. * Maintains a thorough understanding of our value-added program partners. * Acts as a secondary source to assist other members of the Review Team with Green Reviews, Front of the House Reviews, Restaurant & Hospitality Reviews (Traditional Reviews), Marketing Reviews, Customer Trainings and Customer Menu Consultations, as needed and assigned. * Teaches ServSafe Certification classes as needed. (Training would be provided) * Conducts Customer Training Seminars for the Back of the House as needed. * Masters the Menu Analysis & Menu Engineering functions to analyze each item on the customers menu and items being evaluated for inclusion on the customers menu. This function lists the portion size and cost of each item to determine the overall food cost and gross profit of each menu selection. * Works with members of the Sales & Marketing Management Team to manage the local stratification of our customers and to develop tools & research to target our marketing efforts and spend towards specific direct efforts. * Conducts research, writes, proofreads, and offers recommendations for the design of our Operational Tools. * Develops a wide variety of menu suggestions for specific customer needs. * Assists in account development. * Contributes menu suggestions with menu analysis, preparation instructions and photographs for publication in customer-directed brochures. * Researches and writes content for Business Building Tools & Operational Tools. * Participates in CEM's, Regional Meetings and Trainings, food shows, and other related functions. * Meets weekly with supervisor to review past and future progress along with upcoming tasks. Topics to include, but not limited to, work plan for coming week and follow up for previous consultations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or 5 to 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
