Area Sales Director / Chronic Therapies

Job Description Summary: The Area Sales Director will develop and implement the Chronic business sales plan that aligns with the national goals and objectives of Option Care Health. Responsibilities include executing sales, marketing, and business development activities in their geographic area.
Collaboration with other sales teams and key supporting functions is a major focus. Job Responsibilities: Achieves all sales performance and activity goals by therapy for geographical responsibility.
Trains, coaches, develops, and supervises chronic therapies sales team. Develops and directs the implementation of the chronic therapies sales plan. Plans, forecasts, and implements Area resources appropriately, including staffing, budget, and key initiatives.
Serves as an active member of the chronic business sales leadership team and other cross-functional teams. Recruits, interviews, hires, and on-boards the chronic therapies sales team. Maintains high visibility with the chronic therapies sales team through field days and attendance at regional meetings/conferences.
Develops and maintains team spirit and enthusiasm to achieve chronic sales impact. Collaborates with Market Access team to identify and implement Area pull-through opportunities. Partners with Operations to build strong relationships with branch management.
Identifies Key Opinion Leaders within the Area and develops business relationships. Leads the recruitment and management of Advisory Board Members within the Area. Monitors Area trends to develop appropriate sales plans.
Ensures compliance with all Option Care Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Supervisory Responsibilities: Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
YES Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of recent office-based physician sales leadership experience with a proven record of success, OR High school diploma and a minimum of 6 years of recent office-based physician sales leadership experience with a proven record of success. Basic Qualifications:
Results-oriented mindset with expertise in coaching and developing people. Ability to lead, manage, and grow a high-volume, high-dollar business. Motivation and leadership skills that create a positive working environment.
Expertise in analyzing sales data to drive improvement of results. Leadership skills when working with cross-functional teams. Experience in developing long-standing relationships with key accounts.
Understanding of financials (P&L management). Candidates must be able to successfully pass background check and drug screening. Travel Requirements: Willing to travel at least 60% of the time for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications & Interests: MBA in Business Administration with at least 10 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience. Participation in task forces and/or initiative teams demonstrating impact.
Background in selling to Neurology, Gastroenterology, and/or Allergy/Immunology specialties. Salary: Pay Range is $142,714.10-$237,834.76, dependent on education, experience, and internal equity. Option Care Health subscribes to a policy of equal employment opportunity. J-18808-Ljbffr
