Purpose of the Position:

District leader responsible for maximizing growth, profitability and productivity through effective and proactive leadership of Financial Center Mangers with a strong emphasis on delivering the absolute best banking experience. Work with key partners across a matrixed organizational structure to provide leadership, sales process collaboration and strategic partnerships to enhance growth, profitability and productivity initiatives. Direct reports and teams will engage in appropriate business development tactics and activities to grow new profitable relationships, deepen current relationships, and strengthen teamwork within Broadway Bank. Responsible for overseeing and executing district plans in alignment with the Bank's goals with the primary objective of driving year over year growth in revenue, profitability and customer acquisition and deepening. Oversee direct reports in Financial Centers to ensure engagement and execution of appropriate Bank, district and branch specific action plans to include internal sales strategies, external sales strategies and partnering with other lines of business / partners all while maintaining the operational integrity of the Bank. Represent the bank in the community, increase the overall awareness of Broadway Bank and project a positive image for the bank as a stable, sound, profitable and expanding financial institution.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maximize growth and profitability within assigned district.

  • Provide direction for the development of district specific sales plans.

  • Management of sales budgets through the sales activities, coaching and professional development of Financial Center Managers and their teams.

  • Work closely with other lines of business / partners to identify deposit, lending and fee income opportunities.

  • Support the consistent delivery of an exceptional client experience.

  • Intense focus on the development of the relationship banker job family as trusted financial advisors and ensure proper sales and service protocols are consistently executed during every client interaction.

  • Oversight of operational and compliance integrity of the teams and Financial Centers.

  • Coaches and mentors direct reports and teams to ensure continued development and opportunities for growth and achievement.

  • Collaborates with Marketing and Communications department on activities, events, products, pricing and promotions in conjunction with the Line of Business leaders.

  • Building loyalty and driving profitable revenue growth by:

  • Developing and executing targeted client retention and expansion activities (develop and secure new business from existing portfolio base);

  • New customer acquisition activities, ensuring a more effective identification and cultivation of potentially high-value relationships.

  • Working to ensure that a coordinated and consistent message reaches targeted customers across all delivery/servicing channels

  • Responsible for an environment focused on efficiency and continuous process improvement within the Financial Center network.

  • Leads and supports an environment of excellence in service for all internal and external client relationships.

  • Conducts regular staff and employee meetings.

  • Promotes an environment of teamwork and partnership across lines of business and throughout the Bank.

  • Follows local, state and federal legislation and regulatory issues and changes relating to banking.

  • Leads Broadway Bank's continued growth. Seeks out active membership in the right, high profile, organizations and pursues public relations opportunities in order to create awareness and Brand recognition.

  • Responsible for adherence to the annual budget, including coordinating with other Department and Division Managers.

  • Ensures soundness of bank's assets through oversight of the day-to-day activities and accountabilities.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years direct sales/marketing experience in a financial services organization that includes servicing existing clients, prospecting new clients, and loan documentation experience.

  • Preferred: 1-2 years business or commercial lending experience.

  • Management responsibility at the division level or experience managing multiple departments, preferably in a matrixed environment.

  • Strong business development and relationship management skills, and the ability to teach others these skills.

  • Knowledge of business or commercial lending and deposit products as well as dealing with high net worth individuals.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Education Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree from an accredited University w/ emphasis in Business, Finance and/or Accounting or related work experience

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency with technology

  • Preferred: Register and maintain registry as a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and Registry and in accordance with the Secure and Fair enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (the S.A.F.E. Act).

  • Meet and maintain financial responsibility, character and general fitness standards along with all other established requirements for an individual Loan Originator in accordance with Regulation Z.

Other Requirements:

  • This position can be staffed from multiple Broadway locations.

  • Substantial travel within Broadway footprint.
