Summary of Position

The Area Marketing Partner is a junior level marketing role responsible for strategic marketing support for the regional team. Reporting directly to the Regional Partner, the Area Marketing Partner will drive brand awareness via local restaurant marketing, with a focus on catering, fundraising and relationship building in the local and regional community. This individual will work closely with store management & the RMM team, as a key contact for the store to help build local connections in-restaurant and in the neighborhood. Responsible for the management and implementation of national and locally developed marketing initiatives, helping the teams successfully execute marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives.

Overall Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead all field marketing initiatives including catering, fundraising and community outreach.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve annual sales and traffic goals within a field team structure that consists of operations, training and marketing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to amplify local, regional and national marketing initiatives to ensure execution at the restaurant level

  • Lead market-wide LRM initiatives, evaluating their effectiveness and share results with the team.

  • Meets success metrics agreed upon with Regional Partners around focus areas including catering, fundraising, grand openings, accelerated focus stores and community events.

  • Responsible for responding to local marketing requests to address specific business performance needs.

  • Regularly conduct field marketing visits to meet with GMs to discuss business needs, evaluate national and local marketing efforts, and assess competitive activity.

  • Maintains constant communication with operations leaders within the Region on a scheduled basis.

  • Follow company policies, uphold professional standards, and perform all work in a manner respectful of others.

  • Support New Restaurant Opening plans and follow up with teams post-opening at 30/60/90 day intervals.

  • Own a regional calendar of LRM related marketing activities with specific execution timetables.

  • Contributes new ideas and solutions to the organization to raise the bar of our collective performance.

  • Constantly monitor the competitive environment and share with others and analyze changing marketing trends

Qualifications

Education, Training, and Work Experience

  • Previous marketing or communications experience is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, public relations, communications or related field

  • 2-3 years of relative experience in local store marketing or operations experience and multi-unit responsibility

  • Ability to communicate with vendors, peers, and partners both internally and externally

  • 3 to 10 years of restaurant or multi-unit retail/franchise marketing experience.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, time management and product management skills.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with restaurant management, vendors, and field management.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to computer terminals. The noise level and temperature is moderate. The employee has the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours a day. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend or kneel, lift up to 40 lbs. and perform other diverse physical tasks as needed. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
