This position is responsible for assisting the Manager of Training & QA with the implementation and execution of training materials across all complex locations as required. The qualified candidate will work closely with our dedicated training team to develop, maintain, and administer relevant and consistent safety training/curriculum to employees across the complex.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Monitor employee work and provide on the spot training, coaching, leadership, and instruction to F&B team members and supervisors. Collaborate with the Manager of Training & QA to develop, implement, and teach new training initiatives.*

  • Create training materials, including presentations, visual aids, and in-stand resources, to communicate and ensure accurate and consistent information is accessible and adheres to food code and OSHA safety regulations as well as company policies and procedures.*

  • Identify ways in which learning and development experiences can be established or enhanced for team members, including facilitating onboarding, new hire orientation, food handler and alcohol service training, in-person/on demand training, specialty brand training, seasonal, volunteer, and leadership development, etc. A vital part of this process is executing hands-on training within the operations.*

  • Supervise training team coordinators and interns to schedule, maintain, and administer relevant and consistent F&B training. Assist with recordkeeping and organization of required documentation, and follow up with employees as needed.*

  • Collaborate and connect with other departments across the organization representing the F&B team. Provide leadership by generating excitement and engagement, modeling proper attitude and behavior to team members consistently, and demonstrating commitment to company objectives.*

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

  • Industry Experience

  • Food & Beverage, Human Resources
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Education/Training & Development
  • Relevant work experience can be substituted for education
  • 4 years
  • Must be able to pass an alcohol service class (RAMP training and certification will be provided post-employment). Must be ServSafe certified or able to pass ServSafe Manager and ServSafe Allergen and obtain proctor certification status (training and certifications will be provided post-employment).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
