Your team will capture fun interactive photos of guests at the attraction. These photos are published into story-telling photo books, and then sold to our guests. The Primary Role and Responsibility of the Area Manager:
Running all operational aspects of a high-volume souvenir photography retail operation.
Monitoring and understanding the financial performance of the location using P&L statements.
Management of wages and labor budget so that savings are made where possible while ensuring maximized revenue potential
Develop and measure KPI's for your Site Managers consistent with P&L targets
Provide clear communication and promote a company vision and team culture consistent with company strategy.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum 3-5 years' people management experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience in high volume or multi unit management in a retail environment is required.
Previous experience in a professional position demonstrating the ability to produce sales, build a relationship of trust, credibility and mutual respect with guests and/or partners and internal team members.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build teams, develop culture, manage change management, demonstrate coaching, and ongoing performance management.
Ability and drive to lead from the front in this 'hands-on' role, with demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and KPIs in a busy environment.
Experience in employment life cycle, to include recruitment, hiring, monitoring, and performance evaluation of direct reports.
Sound judgment in decision-making, problem solving, and prioritization of duties.
Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, management, and cross-functional team members.
Ability to support operations 7-days a week, including weekends, evenings and holidays it's tourism after all!
Previous guest service experience preferred within the hospitality, food, beverage, or retail industries.
Experience in Souvenir/Concession Photography in a retail, guest-oriented setting preferred
Sales experience with Digital Photography processing and sales in a POS environment.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Efficient skills in using the computer for administrative tasks, basic reporting, HRIS systems/software.
Experience in digital photography a plus, but not required.
