The Area Manager is responsible for the strategic and tactical, day-to-day execution of business across a group of accounts, with a focus on these key performance indicators:
Customer Satisfaction: We are viewed as the supplier of choice. At risk sites are quickly identified and sustaining solutions are implemented. Customers are retained and contracts renewed.
Safety: Our client's employees are safe and injury free. Regional safety metrics meet or exceed company objectives and are trending towards an injury free environment.
Budget: Region meets or exceeds monthly budget targets. Managers drive for efficiencies to improve profitability.
Growth: The region meets or exceeds its business growth goal. The success of the region is measured by its ability to grow.
Employee Satisfaction: Our client is seen as the employer of choice. Employee satisfaction is measured by meeting or exceeding company turnover goal and employee satisfaction surveys.
Ensure that safety goals are met at all accounts within area of responsibility
Oversee on-boarding process for all new managers/supervisors
Provide oversight and direction in preparation of account forecasts and budgets
Ensure key customers are raving fans
Provide weekly Site Reports to Regional Manager
Complete scheduled and unscheduled site audits
Schedule and manage QBR calendar within area of responsibility
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
5+ years of experience in the janitorial and/or hospitality industry
Experience overseeing multiple accounts and managers or janitorial programs
Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings
Available Shift: Full Time
