Job Description:

Our Business Banking segment serves the banking needs of businesses with $1 million to $20 million in annual revenue. The Area Manager will lead a team of Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) in developing new business and deepening existing relationships to position Chase as the primary bank for our clients.

  • Provide leadership, management, support, direction and guidance to a team of BRMs within a territory in developing new deposit, cash management and credit business while focusing on relationship-building, client experience and risk management.

  • Manage performance of individual team members, holding all BRMs accountable for achieving business priorities with a focus on client experience and risk management.

  • Manage the area's revenue and profitability and monitor adherence to credit quality, regulatory requirements and risk protocols; utilize reporting and metrics to monitor team performance, identify trends, and address or escalate issues in a timely manner.

  • Coach and develop team on all aspects of managing a portfolio including relationship management, prospecting, profitability, client experience, and risk management; provide expertise to team on loan structuring, pricing and developing customized solutions; help team identify solutions to complex challenges.

  • Hold BRMs accountable for understanding the personal financial goals and needs of their business clients and connecting them with specialists who can help meet their financial needs.

  • Build collaborative relationships with partners across lines of business

  • Chase Wealth Management, Home Lending, Branch Teams, Commercial Bank and Private Bank - to foster a One Chase, client-centric environment.
  • Actively recruit and maintain a pipeline of diverse viable candidates; select, hire, develop and retain top quality talent by creating an inclusive and respectful team environment.

  • Represent bank in a community leadership capacity such as Chamber of Commerce and local non-profit boards.

  • Seven or more years of experience in a business banking relationship management role or related business lending experience; direct in-person contact required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience strongly preferred

  • Prior experience in managing a relationship development team preferred

  • Expert knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services

  • Expert knowledge of business credit underwriting with commercial credit training preferred

  • Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally

  • Ability to analyze reports, metrics and other data to identify trends, issues and opportunities

  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization and influence others to achieve desired outcomes

  • Ability to balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm

  • Consistently uses a disciplined process to manage time; uses time strategically to balance long-term and day-to-day demands of management role

  • Ability to lead proactively through change

  • Strong current business network; viewed as a leader in community organizations with demonstrated business acumen

  • Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to travel occasionally for key business and leadership meetings and training

Oncology Account Specialist The Oncology Account Specialist accountable for achieving annual sales objectives for a defined community-based oncology territory through the development, maintenance and enhancement of key customer relationships. Responsibilities include development and implementation of effective territory planning and leveraging Sanofi resources effectively. Effectively communicate and position product information to customers in order to successfully promote the appropriate use of the Sanofi oncology portfolio within territory * Work with Oncology Transplant Network Manager (ONM) as necessary to ensure strategy pull through from Key IDNs/System * Work closely with NAM/RAM partners to provide support to local GPO accounts for GPO programming pull through * Complete call reporting, business plan updates and expense reports * Effective account targeting and time management * Attend training sessions as required and conventions and symposia, as necessary * Complete all fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents Basic Qualifications: * BA/BS from an accredited school required. Focus in business or life science preferred. * Minimum three years of Pharmaceutical Sales Experience or two years of relevant specialty experience as an RN, PharmD, or Physical Therapist (Clinical Research Associate does not qualify). Examples of "relevant specialty experience" are: a Registered Nurse with a four year degree and two years' experience in the specialty of the sales team, OR a PharmD with two years' experience as a pharmacist, OR a Physical Therapist with a Master's Degree and two years of experience working with patients in one of the following areas, cardiac, orthopedic, oncology, osteoporosis or arthritis.
