Area Maintenance Technician

Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. 3 years of maintenance technician experience Preferred Qualifications:

Job Summary - Responsible for daily maintenance, installation, dismantlement, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical or electrical equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities, not limited to:

Coordinate work orders for production equipment. Attend meetings with manufacturing and engineering personnel to develop scopes of work and action plans for equipment repair and improvements. Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.

Develops processes and procedures to improve equipment uptime. Leads work efforts for specific project tasks. Must comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines; this includes, but is not limited to, regular attendance and occasional overtime.

Ability to work in team environments, Solo work and working with all levels management, Eng and people. Willing to participate in continuous improvements initiatives within our process to enhance the work task. Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
