Purposes
This role has the responsibility to partner with the global church areas to find ways to increase the number of prepared people for missionaries to teach. Expectations will be that this individual will help increase the number of people for missionaries to teach which will lead to an increase in convert baptisms.
This position is central to the missionaries' role to 'Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end' since 'nothing happens in missionary work until you find someone to teach (Preach My Gospel, 160).'
Responsibilities
30% - Provide leadership, support, and training that directly contributes to the success of Area finding strategies and initiatives. Functions as the subject matter expert and then works with Areas to create actual programsincluding setting up campaigns across multiple channels.
20% - Work with Area Presidencies to develop Area finding strategies and initiatives and procure resources to carry them out, including 360 campaigns that involve in-field finding efforts (using family history, English Connect, self-reliance services, Book of Mormon initiatives, etcetera), member initiatives and paid and unpaid media.
15% - Provide support to multiple small (>$50,000) to medium-sized ($50,000-$250,000) paid and unpaid digital marketing campaigns that are carried out in different countries and cultures around the world.
15% - Collaborate with vendors and external businesses and entities.
10% - Work in conjunction with product managers and other finding division personnel to create and adapt programs, media, and technology solutions to a world-wide audience.
10% - Support the Manager of Worldwide Finding and the world-wide strategy for finding people to teach and other Missionary Department initiatives. Contribute to the creation and support of ongoing tests and learn culture to continue to fill the pipeline with new ideas by identifying new concepts through media, technology, and Area personnel (Ecclesiastical leadership, staff, missionaries).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, information systems, international business, business, or related field (or equivalent experience) and five years of experience or a master's degree and three years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. International or strategy work experience with demonstrable results preferred.
Strong experience in using marketing automation platforms, particularly Marketo (alternatively HubSpot, Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign or similar Enterprise Marketing Automation Platform)
Experience working for a digital marketing agency with online campaigns and marketing, including copywriting and basic HTML design.
Requires expertise in product, technology, service, strategy, and business complexities. Must have exceptional professional skills and experience with a proven track record of completing complex projects requiring multilateral support and coordination, oftentimes in different languages and cultures.
Multilingual required.
Have experience in making data-driven decisions where multiple stake holders are involved.
Worthiness Qualification
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
