Summary:
The AreaFacility Operations Specialist shall assist the 99th Readiness Division(DIV(R)) with the execution and implementation of a multi-faceted,comprehensive engineering base operations and sustainment program to ensure thebuildings and grounds are properly monitored and maintained to meet thefunctional, appearance, safety, security and environmental standards.

Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities:

  • Facilityinspections and checklists

  • Monitorphysical and functional condition of building systems

  • Identifyand report deficiencies

  • Planning,coordination and quality assurance requirements and specifications for servicecontract support of facility repairs

  • Coordinateand participate in occupational health and safety inspections

  • Prepare,review and submit energy efficiency and sustainable practices/recommendations

  • Promoteenergy conservation and awareness

  • Developquality assurance program and implement

  • Providequality assurance inspection and oversight for maintenance and repair anddocument as required

  • Monitorfacility systems

  • Assist99th DIV(R) DPW implement corrective actions, repair, and maintenance

  • Developtasks and requirements list and order of cost magnitude for Sustainment,Revitalization, and Maintenance (SRM) projects

  • Ensureproper storage, usage, and disposal and associate documentation of hazardousmaterials and hazardous waste

  • Monitoringand inspect life safety, physical security and fire preventionrequirements. Address deficiencies ifrequired.

  • Respondto all information requests

  • AttendProject Review Boards as requested

  • Documentation,Checklists, and Reports.

  • Bachelor'sdegree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and three plus years'experience;

or

  • Aminimum of Five (5) years related experience and/or training or equivalentcombination of education and experience.

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiaritywith the Microsoft Suite.

  • Currentfavorable National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI), in accordance with AR380-67;

  • ValidDriver's License
