Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Organizes and directs office functions in Branch Director capacity for office they are based out of while working with Branch Directors/Staffing Managers of offices in their assigned territory

  • Plans business strategy

  • Implements policies developed by the Board of Directors while maintaining a liaison between the Board and staff

  • Understands community and medical staffing needs and establishes goals for recruitment that meet these needs

  • Actively seeks new business opportunities by responding to RFPs

  • Works directly with Branch Directors/Staffing Managers in their territory to hire, train and direct staff in all areas to accomplish goals and maintain compliance with regulations and policies and procedures

  • Performs operational analysis on all offices on routine and on-going basis

  • Performs sales calls to existing and potential clients

  • Recommends policies, programs and budgets for Board approval

  • Delegates responsibility to administrative and supervisory personnel to insure effective programs

  • Actively seeks opportunities for growth of existing offices and investigates areas of possible expansion

  • Manages and reports on fiscal matters (budgets, cost determination and control, collections)

  • Negotiates contracts and agreements for providing services

  • Develops sales programs to promote and develop the various service lines that the agency offers and performs sales with Branch Directors/Staffing Managers

  • Monitors the fiscal aspects of the agency including making credit decisions, participating in collection activities, developing an annual agency budget and planning for capital expenditures

  • Performs screening and first and/or second interviews for office personnel and participates in and/or makes arrangements for training of all new personnel

  • Assisting Branch Director/Staffing Manager with training, supervising and evaluating existing client service personnel

  • Developing, implementing and monitoring a recruitment plan for each business unit to insure a steady pipeline of applicants, to include implementing tracking tools and dividing responsibilities to insure that business until goals are met

Qualifications

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Be able to train and manage personnel

  • Communicate effectively with health system personnel at all levels

  • Be able to read and understand a profit/loss statement

  • Understand the business dynamics of health care systems

  • Effectively manage sales budget

  • Effectively manage accounts receivable

  • Previous recruiting, staffing, sales and management experience

  • Proven track record of success in the healthcare staffing industry

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) from Four-year College or university: or a minimum of two years experience in direct sales of services in health care administration, home health care administration or health related programs and a minimum of two years experience in an administrative position in the staffing and/or home health care field.

  • Minimum of one year of training and experience in health services administration, home health care administration, or health related programs or equivalent combination of education and experience. Administrative experience must emphasize problem solving.

Our Corporate Office is located in Tyler, Texas and we operate nine branch offices. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Agricultural Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience and ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible banking or agricultural lending experience and at least three (3) years in a supervisory and/or management position. Job Scope: Plans, directs and manages the overall operations of assigned Association branch offices within the Fort Worth and McKinney area. Performs a direct role in the analysis, structuring and monitoring of large and/or complex loans. Has considerable latitude for decision making in the implementation of Association goals. Experience should include a broad understanding of lending regulations, credit operations, and credit practices. Essential Functions: * Establishes goals and objectives for branch offices and delegates authority as appropriate to carry out Association goals and objectives. Identifies staffing needs in branch offices and makes recommendations to CEO or CCO for both hiring and termination of employees. Motivates, evaluates and provides training to branch office employees. * Assures the Association is represented at local community activities and is being promoted by branch office staff in order to maintain good public and member relations. * Consults with lending staff on loan origination and the analysis, pricing and structuring of credit. Directs and mentors staff in the analysis and structuring of large and/or complex loans that may entail higher risk to the Association. Meets with customers and business owners to promote new loans, investigate complaints and resolve customer service issues. * Reviews and approves/denies loan requests and loan servicing actions by loan officers over their delegated authorities, but within his or her delegated authority. Assists loan officers with recommendations to the Chief Credit Officer/loan committee on loans and loan servicing requests over both of their delegates authorizes. * Review and approve/deny all variance reports from loan officers that are within their delegated authority. Assist loan officers with variance reports for recommendation to the Chief Credit Officer that are over his or her delegated authority. Inform loan processing on those requests that are approved. * Responsible for compliance with internal controls, credit standards, and standards of conduct for the offices supervised. Ensures that loans are properly risk rated, assigned loss given defaults are correct and performance status assignments are proper. Complies with proper credit administration practices as outlined in Association's policies and procedures. Monitors progress and informs management of branch offices success in meeting the Association goals. * Responsible for collections and past due credits of supervised offices. Oversees the development of corrective action plans within assigned branches on past due loans. Assures that action plans and 1100 reports for high risk credits are properly developed and executed. * Maintains awareness of agricultural trends and business activity, FCA regulations, and legal obligations.
