Overview

We're looking for an Area Director of Education to join our team.

You will report directly to the AVP of Operations within a specific state/region and will be the champion of education, training and delivery of quality.

  • You'll be providing guidance, leadership and support to regional branches to ensure effective achievement of education objectives, orientation and retention

  • You'll be developing and implementing professional learning programs for operational members, staff, and directors with a focus on quality

  • You'll be traveling regularly to multiple offices/branches; typically within a specific state/region

  • You'll be working side-by-side with your clinical and operational team to promote our hospice services and solidify the highest quality patient care

About You

  • Registered Nurse - Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Five years previous managerial experience, of which 3 years is in hospice service industry, is preferred.

  • Unencumbered and active RN license in state of residence required if RN

VIEW JOBS 2/15/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-15T00:00 The Magnuson Park team is recruiting for an enthusiastic and engaging Summer Nature Day Camp Environmental Education Director to join their team this summer. Duties will include creating a daily plan with a focus on art, physical movement and social development, planning field trips, ensuring regular communication with parents about their children, planning the program activities, and administrative work. Pay Rate: $21.60/hr; non-exempt; with the benefits listed below Summer Day Camp Schedule: * Camp Schedule: July 6, 2020 - August 7, 2020 * mid-June, 2020 - July 2, 2020; work part-time to plan, train and develop the summer camp curriculum * August 10, 2020 - August 14, 2020; wrap up the program, organize the supplies etc. * Monday – Friday up to 40 hours per week during the summer * Mandatory pre-camp training and orientation will be offered in June Basic Duties: * Guiding children ages 7-12, in hands-on, environmental education activities * Guide 8 – 10 children, ages 7-12 as they explore all areas of the park * Direct games and activities (including songs and art projects) for campers * Develop programs that are developmentally age appropriate and culturally relevant * Establish relationships of mutual trust and good communication with program participants, their families, and community center staff * Oversee program staff, including scheduling and on the job training * Prepare reports and perform other administrative tasks, attendance records, program application and fees, budgeting, etc. * Provide a safe environment by maintaining orderly, clean and appealing facilities; competent in emergency preparedness; removing known safety hazards; ensuring staff have current CPR/First Aid certification, and any other required or applicable credentials Requirements: * Must be at least 21 years old * 2 years experience with working with 7-12 year-olds and with large groups and diverse populations * Experience with leading activities to this age group and supervisory experience * Must have strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with parents and Parks & Recreation staff * Current First Aid, CPR, and Food Handlers permit, or willingness to attain * If hired, must pass criminal background check, provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID and must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account Please provide a resume and cover letter.
