Description:

Young Life Hardin County is seeking an experienced leader who has the vision to build a Young Life ministry to reach students in the community. We have a dedicated committee that has been assembling to pray, raise funds, create community awareness, and prepare the area for a staff hire. We have built a strong foundation to welcome and support an area director who is eager and motivated to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.

Hardin County is the sixth largest county in Kentucky and the largest area in which we don't currently have Young Life ministry. Full of small town charm while providing all of your desired amenities, Hardin County is a perfect landing spot for someone with a pioneering spirit and the drive and vision to reach the area's four high schools and six middle schools.

The area director will have a unique opportunity to start new ministry and make a lasting impact on our community. The job will require a passion for developing and recruiting leaders to grow and sustain the ministry, as well as excellent communication and organization with both students and adults. With an authentic focus on Jesus, both personally and in the community, the area director will work with the committee to develop strategies to initiate and sustain the growth, health and development of Hardin County Young Life.
