Asan Area Contracting Manager, you will be responsible for drivingcontracting projects and building the contracting team in Madison, Appleton,Wisconsin and the surrounding area. You will manage all aspects of assignedprojects with direct responsibility for project execution and targetedprofitability while leading your team to accomplish specific objectives.Responsible for $8-10 million in contracting revenue. Responsibilities include,but are not limited to the following


  • Drive contractingprofitability for the district and achieving specific Annual OperatingPlan priorities.

  • Manage performance bymonitoring Contracting personnel effectiveness and efficiency in relationto customer service and operating plan goals.

  • Responsible for all aspectsof project planning for ongoing Contracting projects.

  • Support the ContractingOperation Manager in delivering business results and sharing departmentvision.

  • Organizes and schedules allassigned Contracting personnel. Identifies and prioritizes projects andplans jobs in detail.

  • Directly supervise

Contracting fulfillment personnel assigned.

  • Functions as the primaryinterface between the customer, vendors, sub-contractors, and internalexpertise within the sales organization and fulfillment organization.

  • Maintains customersatisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action,and communicating with customers and assigned staff.

  • Maintains and improvescurrent customer relationships while seeking out other salesopportunities.

  • Manages the assignedprojects within the time and cost estimates.

  • Reviews and validatescontracts and estimates by performing risk analysis and developing riskplans.

  • Confirms Trane's ability tomeet the project performance and financial requirements by obtaining andanalyzing customer data, project data, and implementation issues prior toaccepting the project.

  • Leads as a territorycontracting operations safety professional to establish & maintain awork culture that makes safety priority #1.


  • Directly supervises up tofive back office employees in the contracting department. Supervisesbetween five and fifteen technicians, project managers, engineers andestimators. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance withthe organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities includeinterviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work;appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressingcomplaints, coaching and mentoring employees; and resolving problems.


  • Bachelor's degree inEngineering, Business or equivalent experience with a minimum of five toten years of related Mechanical Contracting Project Management / ProjectLeadership experience

  • Working knowledge ofindustrial and commercial HVAC systems, energy management systems, is anabsolute must. (Candidates without a strong working knowledge ofmechanical systems / HVAC systems will not be considered.)

Position Summary The Provider Contracting and Strategy Director will provide oversight for developing provider network strategies, creating and maintaining provider relationships, and modeling and negotiating agreements with independent providers, health systems, and third-party networks and vendors to ensure cost-effective insurance products with a strong focus on customers. In this role you will: * Develop provider network and contracting strategies to achieve corporate goals, focusing on excellent customer service and cost-effective health insurance products. * Develop, analyze, model, present, and negotiate provider and third-party network and vendor contracts that achieve corporate goals for unit cost, utilization, and quality metrics. * Propose, draft, review, present, and negotiate complex provider and third-party network and vendor contract language to benefit company, protect interests, and ensure company is not disadvantaged during course of a contract term. * Monitor third-party network, vendor, and provider contracts for unit cost, utilization, member satisfaction, and quality performance. * Develop and manage relationships with providers and third-party networks and vendors. * Develop and manage product features with providers and third-party networks and vendors that enhance insurance offerings and customer experience. * Lead or represent Provider Relations Department on committees and work groups to develop networks and products for insurance offerings. * Develop and implement provider communication strategy to articulate company policies and procedures. * Resolve inefficient or problematic issues and processes that hinder WPS and providers operations. * Attend on-site meetings to represent company and/or department, including finalist presentations to employer groups, provider fundraising, or open house functions. * Oversee Provider Directory and Find a Doc tools. * Participate in WPS Appeals.
