Area Clinical Manager
We are seeking an Area Clinical Manager to oversee our Palm Beach area accounts. There are currently 3 open heart accounts in the area each with their own dynamic and experienced clinical teams. Case mix is dependent on the individual hospital but includes CABG, Valves, Aortic Dissections, TAVRs, Mitraclips, ECMO, cellsaver, LVAD, etc. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing staff, productivity, vacation and traveler scheduling, Quality management oversight, physician relations, and clinical activities to achieve or exceed operational targets. Performs clinical services on a regular basis and manages clinical associates at the account(s) or program(s) to achieve targeted quality outcomes. Assists Regional Director of Operations and Region Presidents in building and maintaining business relationships with customers and physicians to retain and grow accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages the day-to-day clinical activities in the area. Activities may include but not be limited to the following:
Performs perfusion and other clinical services on a regular basis
Manages the chief perfusionist at the accounts to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Assists with clinical coverage needs. Coordinates the scheduling of traveling clinical associates and vacation scheduling.
Collects and reports quality indicator data as required. Demonstrates quality improvement at each account. Presents data to accounts as needed.
Performs as the liaison between SpecialtyCare and hospital administration and physicians.
Assists Operations and Sales management in building relationships with physicians, operating room staff, and customers including hospital administrators, and hospital materials management.
Manages employment activities of clinical associates at the account(s) or program(s) that may include but not be limited to the following areas: recruiting/hiring new associates, develops associates, and manage employee relations issues.
Performs other duties and works on special projects.

Current certification from American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or meets other Company requirements as a Perfusionist
Degree with a Certificate or Master's degree in Perfusion Technology from an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Perfusionist including experience as a lead Perfusionist. Additional levels of experience as a certified Perfusionist may vary by position based on clinical and operational needs.
