THE JOB The Architectural Technologist position will require thorough knowledge of building technology woodframe projects - specifically retail such as grocery stores, hospitality or related work. This role will have focus in leading the drafting and drawings as well as keeping the technologist team focused and on task for project completion. With a fast paced environment and project deliverables and timelines to meet, the Architectural or Building Technologist will need excellent project management and leadership skills. WHAT'S REQUIRED The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
Bachelor's in Architecture/Architectural Technologist/Building Technologist Certificate or similar
3+ years' experience years of experience working with wood frame projects, specifically multi-family residential projects - as well as other project experience is an asset
Excellent experience working with Photoshop, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
REVIT experience is important
Knowledge of the BC Building Codes is preferred
Proven experience working with municipal approvals processes and city permits
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Remote work is available for individuals in other provinces who meet all requirements above and have even more extensive technical experience on multi-family woodframe projects
