Position Summary:
The Architectural Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling architectural products and services to architects, designers, specifiers, and contractors. This position involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. The Architectural Sales Representative must have a strong understanding of the construction industry, architectural design, and building materials, and be able to effectively communicate the benefits of the company's products and services to clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify and solicit appropriate work opportunities for East Coast Metal Systems and Overly.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay up to date with industry trends.
Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to clients.
Providing technical support and advice to clients.
Negotiating contracts and closing deals.
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Participating in industry events and networking opportunities.
Coordinate with other team members to insure that "fringe" scopes of work are identified and properly included in estimates.
Attend regularly scheduled meetings with project architects/customers as appropriate, to acquaint them with unresolved problems and to ensure an adequate degree of coordination is being made to have accurate bidding documents.

Communicate with customers, general contractors, estimators, engineers, project managers, and outside rep network.
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
Attend meetings, conferences, or seminars as directed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years construction and/or preconstruction experience preferred.
Experience in complex commercial and institutional projects in excess of $250K.
Clear understanding of estimating, sales, marketing and workflows
Strong project management, negotiation, data management, and training & support skills
Ability to develop strong relationships and work with all departments.
Solid business acumen, management, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Effective time management and organization skills
Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
