Responsibilities: Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation. Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Team Management:
Lead and manage project teams, including architects, designers, and consultants. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support as needed. Client Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Maintain regular communication to understand their needs, provide updates, and address any concerns or changes. Design Oversight:
Oversee the design process, ensuring that architectural solutions meet client requirements, project goals, and regulatory standards. Review and approve design documents and drawings. Budget Management:
Develop and manage project budgets. Monitor and control expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budget. Identify and address any financial issues or discrepancies.
Schedule Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules. Monitor progress and ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met.
Implement corrective actions to address any delays or issues. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement contingency plans as necessary. Compliance: Ensure all architectural activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and reports. Ensure all documents are properly archived and accessible. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving architectural processes and practices. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
Master's degree is a plus. 5 years of experience in architectural project management. Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and regulations. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, AIA) are a plus. $80,000 - $90,000 a year
