Architectural Job Captain

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Job Captain to join our team in Kent WA.

Pay is DOE: $35-40/hour

Architectural Job Captain Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project architects and design teams to develop and refine design concepts into detailed construction documents.

• Produce accurate and comprehensive architectural drawings, plans, sections, and details.

• Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure timely project completion.

• Lead the preparation and submission of permit applications and documentation as required by local building codes and regulations.

• Conduct on-site visits to ensure that construction is progressing in alignment with the design intent and specifications.

• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members, addressing project- related inquiries and providing regular updates.

• Mentor and guide junior staff members, offering technical support and fostering professional growth.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in architectural technology.

Architectural Job Captain Requirements:

• 5 years minimum experience in the field with at least 1 year of working in the capacity of Job Captain as outlined above.

• Architectural licensure or progress towards licensure is a plus.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution is a plus.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Word, Excel and Revit - 3D rendering knowledge is a plus

• Experience in a variety of projects (i.e. retail, commercial, industrial, multi-family, and mixed-use)

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and client interactions.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
