Basic Function:

• In-House Residential draftsman will complete master and lot specific plans for new home construction to include both single and multi-family dwellings

• Collect, review and compile coordinating plan documents for permit submittal

• Coordinate building permit submittals and ensure timely permit issuance

• Work with other departments including construction, design and sales to offer building plan related support

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience

• Be proficient in AutoCAD/AutoCAD Architecture

• Candidate must be familiar with current Virginia Building Code, IRC codes and strong working knowledge of wood frame construction.

• Project Navigator is a plus

• Ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-moving environment
