Architectural Designer

We are sourcing candidates for an Architectural Design position in our Architectural Studio in Richmond, VA

Duties

• Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. as directed by others utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
• Assist in developing project scope, plan, and services and during the contract process. Translates planning concepts into comprehensible terms for clients, designers, and project team members.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ program requirements and standards and policies for completion.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
• Perform product research; assist Project Designers and Project Architects with materials selection and system research.
• Work with limited supervision and excellent mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 3-5 years of Architecture Experience
• Must be proficient in Revit 
• Ability to work as a part of a team.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Have a positive attitude – someone who enjoys good work and is fun to work with
