Reporting directly to the Architecture Group Leader, the successful candidate will work closely with a Design Principal or Project Architect and is responsible for the coordination, development, and production of design and construction documents in support of overall project design.
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under tight deadlines, while maintaining high quality standards
Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings
Performs routine tasks under general supervision using well-defined standards and procedures
Designs components or portions of systems, and modifies existing designs to develop or improve them
Gathers information, makes studies, performs calculations, and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal
Performs product research; assists project designers and project architects with materials selection and system research
May assist team in construction administration document management.
Coordinates design with engineering disciplines
Self-motivated personality with the ability to work collaboratively and independently as appropriate in studio environment
Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD is required
Proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max and Rhino
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and InDesign graphic software preferred
Basic knowledge of architectural building systems
Basic knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines
Ability to work in team environment
Ability to effectively meet deadlines
Basic understanding of IBC & Accessibility Codes
Ability to build physical models
A Professional degree in architecture
Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English
Valid drivers' license is required
U.S. Citizenship is required
