PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency with Revit required, with a minimum of one year on the job Revit experience.
Basic knowledge of MS Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Basic experience with Photoshop and/or InDesign, Illustrator, Revit Modeling and Sketch-up preferred.
Dynamic outlook on solving design problems and knowledge growth.
Team collaboration capability.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to hand sketch is helpful.
An accredited degree in Architecture from a US College or University.
LEED Accreditation is desirable (can be achieved while under employment)
Ambition of becoming a Licensed Architect.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in all phases of the Design and assist transition to Design Development.
Learn the full range of Project Programming, Design and Construction Documentation.
Assist or lead in research of project material selections.
Assist with project or site conditions assessments.
Position assigned under mentorship of Sr. Architect/Designer and in collaboration with several Project Managers.
Work in a team environment and collaboration with others.
Demonstrate the willingness to understand plans and specifications.
Assist with incorporating project material selections coordination with Specification Writer.
Assist and or develop design standards of design under supervision of Lead Designer.
Assist with project activities and meetings.
Assist with presentations and client Interface.
Develop presentation materials to support project teams and marketing efforts.
Assist with Web Site updates.
Produce accurate work to support project team efficiently and effectively.
