Architect/Interior Designer - Workplace

Looking to help design a better world? Baskervill is looking for an experienced lead Interior Designer or Architect to join our Workplace team. What you'll be doing:

• Design and production from programming and concept through construction administration,
• Participate in interviews or new client introductions when required and help to establish the scope of work for new projects with the director or principal on your team,
• Ability to flex between project management, design leadership, and technical guidance depending on the project,
• Project lead on multiple projects of varying sizes, providing project management and internal team guidance through every phase of design,
• Taking a hands-on coaching and mentoring approach to oversee the design quality and technical quality throughout the execution of a project,
• Liaising with internal and external project team members and consultants in a timely fashion, with professionalism and compassion,
• Producing drawings in Revit, providing quality control, and mentoring staff through construction administration,
• Primary client contact, fostering client relationships and presenting design deliverables with your teammates.

What you need:

• Bachelors or Master of Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program,
• 10+ years of professional Architecture or Interior Design experience,
• License or working towards licensure,
• Proficiency in Revit,
• Experience in Project Management including during construction document preparation and field observation through construction administration,
• Proven experience managing client relationships and overseeing the design documentation and construction process,
• Substantial experience in personnel supervision and teambuilding,
• Ability to travel is required, some overnight.
