Job ID: 24-02461 Solutions Engineer/Architect (proposals) Tysons VA, Remote MUST: Experienced Proposal Solutions Architect/ Engineer 10 years of hands-on technical experience creating and technical solutions Strong and wide technical knowledge base including all layers of an IT Stack Strong ability to create well written compliant and compelling proposal content in a timely manner Ability to lead projects / proposals and provide technical oversight to ensure alignment with strategic goals & objectives Strong exposer to AWS Cloud solutions / Architecture Strong knowledge and understanding of Information Assurance processes, RMF, and Zero Trust in the DoD and Federal field Expert in at least 3 of the following (listed in order of preference): Server and Virtualization O&M; Data center consolidation; Infrastructure Automation; Cloud migration; Information Assurance; IT transformation or modernization; Network architecture; Large-scale Project Management; Cloud Native Computing; Legacy application migration to COTS applications Heavy Automation infrastructure experience Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to present technical themes to non-technical personnel Love of technology and desire to learn and understand Project Management Profession (PMP),AWS, Azure, SAFe, or ITIL Certification(s) Bachelors Degree in related field is desired DUTIES:

Work with a small specialize team of technology lovers in an innovation lab to help solve problems and create solutions for a variety of clients in the Federal and DOD sectors Ideal candidate will be a tech lover, Technologist enthusiast, who enjoys solving technical problems, enjoys the process of learning technology, and doing the research to figure out what will and will not work Provide solution engineer/ architect level experience in developing both cloud and automation solutions Oversee all technology components of diverse, moderately complex IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, and quality Help with creation of proof of concept projects and solutions across a broad spectrum Work with senior leadership to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met Contributes to formulation of strategies for IT project leadership and other functional areas Perform daily system administration checks to ensure systems are available and performing optimally Maintenance, management, and deployment of infrastructure operations tools (e.g. CloudFormation, Github, Terraform, etc.) Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards Perform pre-sales engineering activities for federal government clients Provide product demos of software to potential federal government clients Assist client delivery teams with design and development of technical solutions for implementation and deployment based on client requirements Responsible for authoring proposal solutions and technical writing Responsible for authoring technical white papers Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
