What You Will Be Doing

The Architect works with the Global Design Team and will be part of a team that supports global platform to ensure service delivery. You will work closely with the business lines / stakeholders to understand service delivery requirements, ensure on-going service delivery. You will be encouraged to work on strict deadlines, in a dynamic/ fast paced business environment while being a good player.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as front-line design team support for construction and factory production activities.

  • Point person for Construction Administration: Answering RFIs, reviewing submittals, maintaining CA logs, managing CA documentation and correspondence.

  • Serve as day-to-day product selection expert. Understand and manage all specified selections for products across all trades (fixture types, finish types, etc.)

  • Provide support to procurement team to resolve issues with product availability, specifications, coordination, etc.

  • Provide QC review to construction documents sets, provide markups to designers.

  • Assist in coordination activities within projects and across projects.

  • Assist local design and permitting team as required.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the Building Code and local zoning regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in architecture

  • 8 to 10 years of experience working with Texas based developers focusing on design development and construction documents for residential projects.

  • 3 or more years of construction administration experience with field experience preferred.

  • Experience with concrete precast and light gauge steel construction preferred

  • AutoCAD required, Bluebeam and Revit a plus.
