Position Overview

E3/Sentinel is seeking an Architect/Engineer with cost-estimating experience to support the Technical Resources Branch (TRB) of the Field Operations, Facilities Program Management Office (PMO) in U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The PMO manages real property, engineering, acquisition and environmental management for buildings and structures nation-wide.

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and development of the FOF PMO's library of Design Standards

  • Assist with managing the development schedule of Design Standards, and handling communications with all Design Standard stakeholders

  • Assist with the development and implementation of a quality control process for the various Design Standards

  • Provide subject-matter expertise for architecture and engineering material in the Design Standard

  • Perform cost estimating responsibilities, especially budget-level estimating, for Design Standards team

Required Qualifications

  • At least eight (8) years' experience

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience with cost estimating applications such as RS Means

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft office suite of programs, especially MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Experience working in a fast-based, analytical environment

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Suitability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current CBP Suitability Determination highly desired

Knowledge of Policies/Standards/Procedures and tool architecture, interoperability of threat tools, Kali Linux, and Vulnerability scanners. Skills in either CISSP, Security+, CISA, CISM or SANS.<br /> Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Technology and/or Engineering discipline as well as at minimum one of the following certificates: Network+, Cisco or Juniper   <br />  <br /> Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Active Secret Security clearance is required. Monday-Friday, 40-hour week plus on call evenings and weekends with adjusted weekday hours to compensate.
