We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Platform Security Intern to join our team. The intern will work closely with our platform security and security operations teams to help protect our platform from threats and vulnerabilities. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity and platform protection.

Activities:

• Help maintain and improve our security documentation and processes.

• Shadow existing Archer personnel during security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.

• Assist in the development and implementation of security measures for the platform and secure coding principles.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle.

• Participate in the analysis of code and the development of best practices.

• Support the team in daily operational tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 hours of overlap with US Central Time Zones

• A willingness to learn and a desire to contribute to a tightknit team in a distributed environment

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices

• Familiarity with source code management

• Strong writing and communications skills

Desired Attributes:

• Familiarity with security tools and technologies.

• Understanding of secure coding practices in languages such as C# and JavaScript

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of network and cloud security
