AR - Surgical Services / Orthopedic Unit - Night Shift

Responsible and accountable for the care given and for the decision regarding which nursing tasks can be safely delegated to licensed and unlicensed persons involved in patient care. Must be competent in a wide variety of nursing skills. Responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care and promoting a team effort among co-workers.

Responsible and accountable to know, own and energize the mission, values and standards of the hospital. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Associate of Science in Nursing required. Experience: Two (2) years experience required. Certifications: BLS required.

Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required. Preferred: Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

ACLS certification. Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Work Environment Patient rooms, nursing unit, hospital environment COVID patient care may be required. Note: Candidates that live within a fifty (50) mile radius of Baxter Regional Medical Center and/or candidates that were previously employed with Baxter Regional, within the past five (5) years are not eligible for consideration.
