AR Manager

LHH has partnered with a leading construction related company for an Accounts Receivable Manager. This role supports the VP of Finance & Accounting and will manage customer credit limits, collections, and the Preliminary Notice/Release processs.

The ideal candidate will drive improvements in the ARCollections department, standardizing processes and ensuring effective communication and accountability. Key responsibilities of this Accounts Receivable Manager include: Lead and mentor a team of 2.

Oversee AR aging and address accounts over 90 days past due. Set and manage credit terms for new and existing customers. Handle the preliminary notice and lien release process.

Reconcile customer accounts and maintain strong customer relationships. Provide backup support for payment applications, lien releases, and customer inquiries. Present AR reports to directors.

Oversee month-end duties. Minimum qualifications: 5 years of experience in accounts receivable. 2 years of supervisory or management experience. Experience with preliminary notices and lien releases.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experienced with Great Plains is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
