AQUATIC SUPERVISOR

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
An employee in this position is responsible for the entire daily operation of the pool, ensuring all safety polices, procedures, facility rules and regulations are enforced to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patrons and staff.
The immediate training and supervision of staff.
Enforcing all pool rules and regulations for patrons and staff.
Testing and recording pool chemical levels every hour and adjusting as needed.
Inventory of first aid supplies, concessions items, cleaning supplies.
Informing supervisor of needed supplies, chemicals, and concession items.
Maintaining cleanliness of the pool, the deck, offices, and concessions.
Establishing good public relations with patrons, neighbors, and the community.
Scheduling and overseeing lifeguard rotations, daily opening and closing duties and cleaning day chores.
Immediate response and action in emergency situations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
Must be available to work Monday-Sunday from 11:00am until 8:30pm. Times may very.
At least 2 years lifeguarding experience.
CERTIFICATIONS
Current Lifeguard Certification
CPR/AED/First Aid for the professional rescuer or equivalent
Prince Georges County Pool Operators License
