Position Summary

The Aquatics Assistant Manager assists the Aquatics Manager in delivering the safety, operation, and financial performance of the Aquatics Department. This includes but is not limited to, Family Swim hours, Swim Lessons, Swim Team and Masters Swim. They will be directly responsible for the Life-guarding operations and team members of the departments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in the casting, training and development of all Aquatics Team Members

  • Assists in managing the financials of the Aquatics business to meet or exceed department goals

  • Ensures Aquatics Team Members deliver a safe and friendly experience for our members

  • Responds to member inquires in a professional and timely manner

Position Requirements

  • Some College experience

  • 1 Year of Customer Service Experience

  • 1 Year of supervisory/management experience

  • 1 Year of swim instruction/coaching experience

  • 2 Years of lifeguard experience

  • National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) Certified Pool Operator

  • Red Cross Lifeguard Certified

JOB SUMMARY: Provides overall supervision of the Stewards department, including planning, scheduling, organizing, execution and evaluation of kitchen and banquet functions on an assigned shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Provides adequate training and tools for employees so they may effectively perform necessary job duties. * Makes frequent inspections to maintain proper standard of storing, handling and maintenance of industrial chemicals, kitchen and banquet equipment. * Ensures all function areas are kept clean and in proper condition to provide a safe working environment for employees. * Inputs work orders and order cleaning supplies. * Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Three years back-of-the-house experience in stewarding required. * Must have prior experience in all phases of kitchen administrative work and knowledge of all kitchen equipment and industrial chemicals. * Must be certified in food sanitation and knowledgeable in all phases of banquets. * Must possess excellent customer service, communication, leadership, and organizational skills. * Knowledge of computers is helpful. * Must be able to work flexible hours. * Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. * Must present a well-groomed appearance.
