APRN/PA- Hospitalist (FT) (LRH) with Dr. Rios and Dr. Abuaita - Lakeland , FL

Our established Inpatient Physicians are hiring for a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant with NCCPA certification to join our inpatient hospital-based practice. Position include some weekends and hospital ER/call coverage. Provider must display strong communication skills. Experience as a APRN/PA in ICU, hospital based preferred, but not required.

Duties include:

• Assist Physicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients at hospital

• Preforms History's and Physicals

• Dictates discharge summaries and consultations

• Preforms and orders therapeutic and diagnostic procedures within the scope of practice

• Properly handles medical records and information by maintaining confidentiality of patient and clinic/hospital documents

• Submits billing/charges in a timely manner

• Provides ongoing education to their patients

Adult and BLS certification required.

APRN/PA board certification is required

Active, Unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required .
