Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is a broad-based Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse provider serving over 40,000 individuals living in the four counties of Western Massachusetts. APRNs at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • PNMHCSs who are licensed to prescribe medication must submit current certification and evidence of authorization from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, a completed and accepted Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration application, and a Federal DEA Certificate. (Required)

  • Master's Degree or higher in mental health nursing from an accredited college or university recognized by the National League for Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice at the highest level of independent practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.(Required)

  • Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in psychiatric and mental health nursing with APRN-BC designation in one of the following areas: 1. Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing; 2. Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; or 3. Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner AND/OR Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in child and adolescent psychiatric and mental health nursing with APRN-BC designation. Documentation must state: "A Clinical Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing."(Required)

  • Valid driver's license and a reliable car available for working hours.(Required)

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Master's-Level Clinician in Outpatient Services at Behavioral Health Network! Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support Outpatient Services with the following: Outpatient Clinicians provide direct services to BHN clients across the lifespan via outcome-driven, evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training and support. Services are delivered in a variety of settings and modalities, including clinics, homes, schools, outreach community locations, or via telehealth platforms. Clinical services include comprehensive assessments, individual, couple, family, and group therapy, and coordination with other service providers as indicated. Outpatient Clinicians maintain their caseload, participate in clinical team meetings and supervision, formulate collaborative treatment plans, measure progress toward set outcomes, and coordinate treatment with a multidisciplinary team. Outpatient Clinicians may hold Fee-for-Service hourly positions (minimum average of 8-10 hrs/week,) with Full-Time salaried positions also available. We offer a generous New-Hire Bonus for independently licensed and/or Bilingual staff, along with a newly higher salary structure and the potential for earned productivity bonuses. Who are we? The City Clinic (CC) in Holyoke, MA, provides bilingual, culturally competent psychotherapeutic clinical services to children, families, and adults with mental health and substance abuse problems. As a fully bilingual clinic, we offer linguistically and culturally competent services in in both Spanish and English. Bilingual Clinicians are eligible for Sign-On Bonus, and may be eligible for Relocation Assistance. Bilingual English/Spanish Required for this Position! * Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy (required). * Independent Licensure OR License-Eligible and working toward Independent Licensure (required). * Experience providing clinical services with children, adolescents, and/or adults (required). * Broad knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques (required). * Internship or professional experience in an Outpatient setting (preferred). * Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR,) internet, word processing and email systems (preferred).
