This position is part of the Corporate Quality team and reports to the Sr. Director of Corporate Quality. The selected candidate will provide project management support and leadership for the enterprise wide APQP implementation.
The selected candidate is responsible for the launch and implementation of APQP within New Product Introduction (NPI). This application covers both the design of new products as well as build to print. This role is accountable for delivering results by collaborating with executive leadership at our Triumph Group companies and supplier sites, coaching their personnel in their development and performance within the context of NPI/APQP, and for ensuring the team activities are directly aligned with achieving defined goals.

Engineering or other technical bachelor's or master's degree, per the typical minimums defined below.
Must possess demonstrated working knowledge relative to New Product Introduction (NPI) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP AS9145) tools and methodologies.
Must possess demonstrated Project Management abilities within complex remote team environment.
High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals and continuous improvement.
Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS office tools.
Technical degree in Engineering, Math, or Science, or equivalent experience/ combined education with 6+ years related professional experience, 3-5 years related experience and specialized training commensurate with assignments in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
Green Belt or Black Belt, CQE/CMQOE certification.
Demonstrated quality science expertise the following areas: Practical understanding of System/Process thinking (Deming), Statistical analysis, statistical process control, sampling, Six Sigma, FAI, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA process auditing or validation, root cause analysis (8D, A3, Apollo), corrective action validations.
Understanding and experience with AS9100, AS9103.
Ability to travel 25%-75%.
