Apprentice Lead - Loading Dock (Evening Shift)

Job Overview

The Apprentice Lead will assist in all roles and responsibilities of the lead. This position will assist in all aspects of overseeing the manufacturing operation for assigned areas. In the absence of the lead this position will fill in for the Lead.

Highlights of your role

• Execute responsibilities set by the lead

• Assist with loading requirements

• Assist with workload balance

• Provide loading feedback reports to product group

• Train on process and specification guidelines

• Assist in problem solving and troubleshooting on loading, offloading and towline related issues

• Assist in bottleneck areas

• Assist in leading, directing, and motivating work cells while meeting our safety, quality, delivery, and production objectives

• Learn to oversee processes - understand department's opportunities and challenges

• Understand planning and communication on daily assignments and rotations

• Ensure all safety policies and practices are followed

• Become knowledgeable with employee safety and quality expectations: demonstrate understanding & ability to carry necessary steps of related programs and policies

• Other duties as assigned
