Camden National Bank is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to work with the real estate appraisal review team and manage the appraiser selection, bidding, engagement, review, and invoice process for residential and commercial appraisals. Good communication, enthusiasm, and attention to detail are key traits to be successful in this role. Responsible for engaging, tracking, and review of appraisals and evaluations completed by third parties to determine the reasonableness and accuracy of the value and to ensure technical compliance with applicable Bank policies, regulations, and appraisal standards. Provide valuation assistance on special assets credits. Complete and maintain review documentation.
Receive, track and process appraisal bids and engagements for commercial loan requests, including renewals and workout requests for CNB loans.
Receive, track and process appraisal invoices, ensuring the appraisals have been reviewed and accepted by CNB before invoices are submitted for payment.
Help maintain the Bank's list of approved appraisers. Research, review, and recommend appraisers to add to the Bank's list.
Ensure all required information, such as current E&O Insurance declaration, is maintained at all times on each appraiser appearing on the CNB approved lists; handle correspondence accordingly.
Maintain appropriate procedures, records, tracking documentation and reports for control and reconciliation purposes, ensuring this information is up-to-date at all times.
Prepare, review and submit for approval monthly general ledger and other departmental reconcilement(s) as assigned.
Prepare, track, and archive appraisal-related performance reporting as required, including but not limited to individual appraiser performance.
Monitor invoice processing and vendor invoice resolution. Complete fee uploads to the Jack Henry system.
Prepare and perform due diligence reviews of the monthly inspection order list submitted to vendors.
Associates Degree or equivalent two-year college degree; two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat (full), and Outlook.
