LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ. Responsibilities This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills:
Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product life-cycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems
Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security
Ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
Script automation
Manage database structures by monitoring and adjusting the internal structures (tuning) as required
Defines, establishes and performs regular backups of databases
Involvement in planning, designing, creating, installing, customization, upgrades and maintaining of databases to meet defined requirements
Perform upgrades of the database and software to new release levels
Documents databases and deployed applications
Perform Database Security implementation and documentation
Assist clients with Maximo user related issues
Create and maintain reports and forms using BIRT Reporting Tools
Perform other duties as required Qualifications
Bachelors' Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or similar discipline is required. 10 years of directly related, IT experience may be substituted
7 years MS SQL Server Administration experience required
Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Experience with SQL Clusters in a Vitalized Environment
Experience with SQL backup and recovery
Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) - Knowledge of High Availability (HA) & Disaster Recovery (DR) for SQL Server
Experience with SQL Versions 2008 R2, 2014, 2019, 2022
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to organize and plan work independently, self starter
Understanding of network architecture
Basic Project Management skills required
Ability to document project requirements
Ability to work flex hours
Strong application support experience
Perform other duties as required. Preferred Qualifications:
SQL Certification a plus
Solid understanding of GIS system integrations.
Experience in working with government a plus
5 years of Maximo Administration experience
Maximo System administration and configuration; work-flow development along with end-user support.
Maximo Spatial Asset Management.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment
Compensation: Minimum: $85,000: Maximum: $125,000. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates’ qualifications and location.
